PENA JUSTISIA: Media Komunikasi dan Kajian Hukum is a peer-reviewed journal published by Faculty of Law Pekalongan University.  Pena Justisia published twice times a year (June and December). Pena Justisia first published in 1999. Previously, Pena Justisia only appeared in print version. Beginning in 2017, published in print and online, starting from Vol. 17 No. 1 June 2017. 

The Pena Justisia journal has publication frequency twice a year a year. This decision was taken based on considerations to improve the quality and sustainability of the journal in the long term. Increasing the frequency of journal publications is hoped to provide more opportunities for authors to publish their research and help increase the journal's visibility among academics. In addition, this change is also expected to increase the participation of reviewers and members of the journal's editorial board, thereby strengthening the quality of reviewing and editing articles. Nonetheless, this change in publication frequency also created several challenges, such as an increase in the workload for editorial board members and reviewers and adjustments to the schedule for publishing articles by authors. Therefore, the journal will continue to monitor and evaluate the impact of these changes to ensure the quality and sustainability of the journal in the future.

Pena Justisia aims to provide a forum for lecturers and researchers to publish the original articles about Law Science.

Focus of  Pena Justisia is publishing the manuscript of outcome study, and conceptual ideas which specific in the sector of Law science. We are interested in topics which relate generally to Law issues in Indonesia and around the world. Articles submitted might cover topical issues in Criminal Law, Civil Law, International Law, Islamic Law, Agrarian Law, Administrative Law, Criminal Procedural Law, Commercial Law, Constitutional Law, Civil Procedural Law, Adat Law, and Environmental Law.

Dear Colleagues,

Jurnal Pena Justisia published two times a year (June and December). In addition, we will increase the articles published in each issue to 35 articles per issue.

We made this change in order to provide better service for writers and readers of the Pena Jurnal Pena Justisia. It is hoped that with an increase in the number of articles and the frequency of publication, Jurnal Pena Justisia can further develop and make a positive contribution to the development of legal science in Indonesia.

Pena Justisia is an International Journal of law with Sinta 2 Accreditation Certificate, published two times a year in June, and December. Articles in Pena Justisia are required to be in English and participate in international collaboration. Each published article must cite at least five articles from Pena Justisia. All authors of Pena Justisia who have submitted articles are required to confirm with the admin for further assistance. Copyright belongs to the authors. This journal contains the results of research, development, and studies in law. The journal is published by Pekalongan University. Pena Justisia accepted quality articles in this issue. The published articles are authored and co-authored by many authors from many international and national affiliations.
